"Barry Munday","The Baster", AND "Rooms: A Rock Romance"
"Barry Munday"
No theatrical release date has been set, but we do have news from the Festival Circuit. "Barry Munday" will make it's world premiere at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival. It runs from March 12-20 and we are waiting for the full schedule to be published on-line. The Festival is held in Austin, Texas. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Judy Greer, Chloe Sevigny, Malcom MacDowell, Billy Dee Williams, Jean Smart and Cybil Shepherd. It's based on the book "Life is a Strange Place" by Frank Turner Hollon.
"Barry Munday" also has a facebook prescence. Director Chris D'Arienzo has created a Facebook page for "Barry Munday". They've been adding movie stills to the photo album. You can check out Patrick with facial hair. We're used to seeing him cleanshaven so it's definitely a different look--and it is PERFECT for the character. (We've read the book.)

Chris also established a Twitter account ("BMundo). On it "Barry" will tweet his thoughts. You'll get a good feel for the type of guy he is... http://twitter.com/BMundo
"The Baster"
The production company, Miramax closed its doors a few days ago and parent company, Disney, is now handling the release of this film. It stars Patrick Wilson, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Jeff Goldblum and Juliette Lewis. Release date is still listed at August 20, 2010.
The title is undergoing a change. Focus groups did not like it so Disney will be making it more audience/marketing-friendly. You can read more about the upcoming change HERE.
"Rooms: A Rock Romance"
The newly released original cast recording of "ROOMS a rock romance" includes a special liner note essay written by Patrick. ROOMS is written by Paul Scott Goodman who also wrote "Bright Lights, Big City" - Patrick starred in the Off-Broadway production.
Broadwayworld writes: "(Patrick) brings a unique insight into the artistry of ROOMS' compositions."

Other news...
We are still waiting for annoucements about any new film projects. Patrick is an in-demand guy and we are sure he's considering different offers. Please, oh, please, oh, please--let one of his choices be another limited-run Broadway show. Preferrably a musical. We want a chance to hear that voice in-person!
And, the Sunscreen Film Festival is in April in St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended last year to screen "Passengers" and to teach some acting workshops. We are wondering if he'll be there again. It's his hometown and he is very supportive of film ventures there.
