"The Ledge", "Insidious", "Untitled Susannah Grant Project", Broadway Theatre Project, and Commencement Address

Wow! Where to begin? The last few days have been full of great news about Patrick Wilson. When it rains, it pours--and we wouldn't have it any other way!

"The Ledge"
The one-sheet poster for "The Ledge" was released this week (see above) as was the trailer:

And, May 11th-25th, "The Ledge", starring Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Terrence Howard, and Charlie Hunnam will be available for a "sneak preview" on the "Sundance Now" website:

The film will then be available via On-Demand via IFC (Independent Film Channel).

"Insidious"
This is the little film that could. "Insidious" is still going strong in the United States as it also begins opening around the world. It has grossed over $50 million domestically and we can't wait to see the international figures. Congrats to everyone who had a part in creating "Insidious"!

"Untitled Susannah Grant Project"
This CBS Medical Drama (possibly aka "Vital Signs) was one of the pilots screened last week for the network. TV Guide has listed it as one of it's top picks. Whoo Hoooooo!

Here's their write up:
"Untitled Susannah Grant Project (CBS)
Starring: Patrick Wilson, Jennifer Ehle
Summary: The life of an ultra-competitive surgeon (Wilson) is changed forever when his ex-wife (Ehle) dies and begins teaching him about life from the hereafter.
Pedigree: Susannah Grant (the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Erin Brockovich) is executive-producing.
Why we like it: Once you get on board with the woo-woo-concept, it's actually quite smart... and sweet.
Why it has a shot:
CBS knows from "talking to dead people" shows. Remember The Ghost Whisperer?

Broadway Theatre Project
Patrick Wilson is slated to teach again at the Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) this July in Tampa, Florida. He's an alum of the program and is a frequent workshop leader. This year the program runs July 10-31. We'll keep you posted about which day(s) Patrick will be there--his busy schedule permitting, of course!

Trinity College Commencement Speaker

Patrick will be the Commencement Speaker for 2011 Graduation at Trinity College in Hartford, CT on Sunday, May 22. He's also getting an honorary doctorate in Fine Arts that day, too. Congratulations, Dr. Wilson!
