"Morning Glory", "The Baster", "The A-Team" , "Life in Flight" and more

"Morning Glory"
A little more publicity about "Morning Glory" which stars Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton,Rachel McAdams, Patrick Wilson and Jeff Goldblum. Movie is set for release on Jul 30, 2010.

"Synopsis: From director Roger Michell (”Notting Hill,” “Venus”), producer J.J. Abrams (”Felicity,” “Alias,” “Lost,” “Star Trek”), and writer Aline Brosh McKenna (”The Devil Wears Prada,” “27 Dresses”), comes “Morning Glory,” a new romantic comedy set in the hilarious and dysfunctional world of morning television. Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton star along with Patrick Wilson and Jeff Goldblum.

When hard-working TV producer Becky Fuller (McAdams) is fired from a local news program, her career begins to look as bleak as her hapless love life. Stumbling into a job at “Daybreak” (the last-place national morning news show), Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Ford). Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover morning show staples like celebrity gossip, weather, fashion and crafts – let alone work with his new co-host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former beauty queen and longtime morning show personality who is more than happy covering morning “news.” As Mike and Colleen clash, first behind the scenes and then on the air, Becky’s blossoming love affair with fellow producer, Adam Bennett (Wilson) begins to unravel – and soon Becky is struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, her job and ultimately, the show itself."

"The A-Team"

This article talks about action figures planned for "The A-Team" and also gives a different spin on Patrick's character, Colonel Lynch:

Another write-up about "The A-Team". This one has an interesting description of Patrick's character, Colonel Lynch:

The A-Team follows the exciting and daring exploits of Hannibal Smith and his colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going “rogue,” they utilize their unique talents – and eccentricities – to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. The A-Team hits everywhere June 11, 2010.

Liam Neeson, whose many credits include the Oscar-winning Schindler’s List and the recent box office hit Taken portrays Hannibal Smith, a master planner of inventive missions requiring split-second timing, unusual skills and a team of incredibly proficient and eccentric soldiers; Bradley Cooper, who shot to movie superstardom in the smash comedy The Hangover, is Templeton “Face” Peck, who can procure anything for the Team’s unorthodox and daring activities; Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, a professional mixed martial artist and a top rated UFC light heavyweight, is B.A. Baracas, the Team’s driver and muscle; and Sharlto Copley, who stars in the surprise summer hit District 9, is H.M “Howling Mad” Murdock, a gifted pilot – and certified loon. Jessica Biel (The Illusionist) stars as Capt. Charisa Sosa, a former love interest of Face’s, but who’s now relentlessly pursuing the Team for a crime not of their doing. Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) is Lynch, a mysterious CIA operative who is a key player in the Team’s most explosive mission.

Here's a write-up about the Awards Luncheon & Ceremony from broadway.com
It sounds like such an interesting event:

http://www.broadway.com/Billy-Elliot-Carnage-and-Geoffrey-Rush-Take-Top-Drama-League-Honors/broadway_news/5027519

Excerpt:
"As usual, the nominated actors were seated on a three-tier dais on the stage of the Marriott's Broadway Ballroom. After being introduced, each nominee was handed a microphone and invited to make a short speech. Before winning, Rush gave the wittiest remarks of the afternoon, calling the Drama League luncheon "unique, thrilling and strange" and comparing the dais to "a performance art installation." The group photo, he added, was like posing for the cover of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper album. Not to be outdone, Shrek star Christopher Sieber likened the dais to "the largest panel of Match Game ever." "

We've added some photos of Patrick arriving for the ceremony. They are in the Miscellaneous Photos Gallery on our main site: HERE

What an extraordinary opportunity to see this on a big screen. Patrick is amazing as Joe Pitt, a married Republican Mormon lawyer who is hiding the secret that he is gay. And, Patrick filmed this while also starring on in the 2002 Broadway Revival of "Oklahoma!". By day a man tormented by a secret...by night a cowboy singing and dancing--hoping to escort Laurie to the box social. His efforts garned him a Tony nomination for his stage work--and both an EmmyAND a Golden Globe nomination for his film work. What an incredibly talented and versatile actor!
