"Hard Candy", "Watchmen", and other stuff...

Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson: the tables turn in "Hard Candy"

"Juno" had it's cable network premiered last night on HBO. Ellen Page gives such a wonderful performance and I'll bet folks will look her up to see her other films.

That may lead a whole new group of people to "Hard Candy"--and Patrick! And, if you are one of the newcomers, you can read more about "Hard Candy" on our messageboard thread HERE

Patrick Wilson as Night Owl II in the upcoming "Watchmen" movie.

Countdown for Patrick Wilson Projects

Just 7 days until they begin announcing the films that have been accepted for the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Fingers crossed that "Barry Munday" makes the list! The festival begins on Thursday, January 15, 2009.

Just 46 days until "All My Son" closes on Broadway (Sunday, January 11, 2009). If you have the opportunity to see this wonderful production at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre--DO IT. The staging is so innovative--I loved it. And, the cast is top-rate. John Lithgow and Patrick Wilson are so worth the price of the ticket. Dianne Wiest has received rave reviews. She was out when I saw the show but her understudy, Lizbeth Mackay, was amazing. She was more than equal to the task. Katie Holmes may not be a stage veteran but she's earnest in her portrayal and works very hard. A real "must-see" production.

Just 48 days until the DVD/Blu-Ray release of "Lakeview Terrace" is released (Tuesday, January 13, 2009) Special features are included so hopefully we'll get to hear Patrick, Samuel L. Jackson, and Kerry Washington's thoughts on this story.

Just 100 days until "Watchmen" rocks the movie world (Friday, March 6, 2009). Patrick in a dual role as Dan Drieberg his alter ego, costumed hero Night Owl II.

Plus..."Passengers" should have a DVD release in the near future, too.
